Rev. Dan Schumacher, Senior Pastor
Dan has been the Senior Pastor of FBC since February 2015, and loves serving in downtown Colorado Springs. After graduating from the University of Wyoming, Dan began seminary at Princeton Theological Seminary and finished at Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond. He loves ministering in historic downtown churches, where the best of a rich history and traditional style of worship meet the needs of a modern downtown city. He loves fly fishing, running, sad songs, woodworking, his Weimaraners, and, most of all, his high school sweetheart, who (by the grace of God) has remained married to him for the last twenty years.

Shazia Ali, Director of Music
Shazia is a classically trained pianist and wonderful addition to the staff. Since joining our staff in November 2017 as our accompanist, she has also taken up the organ is making wonderful strides. More recently, Shazia has stepped into the role of Director of Music. We are thrilled to have her leading at FBC!

Rev. Bill Wolfe, Interim Youth Director
​Rev. Bill Wolfe is a semi-retired American Baptist pastor, married for 45 years to Carol, father of three kids, and granddad to five grandkids. He currently coaches four different sports at Timberview Middle School, where he also is a frequent guest teacher.  Bill and Carol met when they were both working with the para-church youth ministry, YoungLife. He is a graduate of Judson University in Elgin, Illinois, and Northern Seminary in Lombard, Illinois. He is the author of six books and has served as middle school camp pastor for the ABCRM's Front Range Camp.
​Emilia Arguello, Office Administrator
Front office “Jane of All Trades:” First point of contact for congregation and community, oversees daily office activity, facility scheduling and calendar planning, and responsible for publications and website maintenance.

Barbara Ireland, Financial Administrator
Barbara joined our staff at FBC as our Financial Administrator in the Fall of 2016. She's our go to for questions about ministry team budgets, reimbursements, and all other finance related questions.

​Richard Dockum, Sunday Custodian
Richard serves as our Sunday Custodian, opening and closing our church facility on Sunday mornings. His years of experience and in-depth knowledge of our church is beneficial in many ways.
