Growing Together: A Relationship Workshop Series for Couples
Hi Church Family! We’re excited to invite you to something new at First Baptist — a relationship workshop designed to help couples grow, connect, and thrive.
Friday, January 9
6:00–7:30 PM
Fellowship Hall (downstairs)
Pizza dinner: $5 per adult (kids eat free!)
Childcare provided
This series is for all couples — dating, engaged, or married. We’ll be using John Gottman’s Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work alongside biblical truth about love and partnership.

• Jan 9: Love Maps & Fondness/Admiration
• Feb 6: Turning Toward Each Other
• Mar 6: Managing Conflict & Problem-Solving
• Apr 17: Overcoming Gridlock & Creating Shared Meaning
Each night includes short teaching, Scripture reflection, and private time for couples (no group sharing). You don’t need to attend every session to benefit — we’ll send recap emails with monthly “Lovework” to practice at home.
Reading Before Class:
Please read or listen to the Introduction–Chapter 3 before the first session.
